This is an appeal to those that would like to benefit the fishing industry in this rather difficult economic environment, and who would also like to help promote and propel a new project designed to expose more adults and young people to fishing as a healthy family life experience and bring a greater awareness of ocean and fish ecology. The project needs agents, investors, screenwriters and any connections that may be usable in the film and animation trades. Enlightened ocean aware individuals that are interested in creating a green environmental outreach to the public.

We need help evaluating the next phase, how we can hook-up with the right people that will find a common interest with us to move this project forward. We need to assemble a team of investors and movie promotion types.

Fishing is much more than fish. It is the great occasion when we may return to the fine simplicity of our forefathers.

Dan Hicks and the "classic" lineup of his Hot Licks - Sid Page (violin), John Girton (guitar), Jaime Leopold (bass) and Lickettes Maryann Price and Naomi Eisenberg! - performing "By Hook or by Crook" and "Shorty Falls in Love" - identified here as "Another Night". I would venture that this is perhaps a rehearsal for the Flip Wilson show of 9/28/1972 - of which there is a video here ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dWZ8wjQE_bY - because the backdrop is the same. There is also "strange", misplaced laughter and applause, which might indicate that something else was going on at the same time.
